I guess it depends on the context that it is said in.

used as a verb, no
Used as a derogatory statement to define me, yes.
Used by someone to define women, yes
Used by someone who includes themself when they are referring to all of us, no.

Yes, isn't nice from you to be calling that bad word to every one when you even don't know the persons you are chatting with. Why do think many people fight when they are told son of a b***? Is an insult, so you should correct your language, Would you like to be treated like that or that some one treat your mother or sister like that? I don't think so. Treat people in the same way you want to be treated.

Yes,and I found out that you used the word bitches in all your answers. That is quite offensive, especially to the asker. That's also very rude. Stop quoting bitches in your answers and Yahoo! Answers will be a more beautiful world,b i t c h.

I speak street slang terms so I use the word "bltches" sometimes when I'm angry and when I'm not angry just to describe a female. I would fly off the handle if someone called me a bltch or referred to me as one. I know its hypocritical but so what. If they call me a bad bltch then I wont be too mad.

I think women react to that word in the same fashion Afro-Americans react to the word "*******". It's all about a long and ugly history of being relegated to the status of second-class citizen.

Unless, you are talking about the canine variety of course.

EDIT:
I was curious as to whether Yahoo would edit out the 'n-word'. Obviously, Yahoo did. It's not ok to call Afro-Americans the ''n-word' (nor should it be), but this posting is proof positive that referring to women as bitches is still considered absolutely acceptable behavior.

I am not offended.

I just find that the person that uses it often, has a lack of Vocabulary.

Or could be that person was called a Bitc^ a lot.
