Multiplying fractions.

Multiply the numerators with numerators.
Then multiply the denominators with the denominators.
So it doesn't matter how many fractions you have just follow that procedure. (If you know how to reduce the fraction before multiplying, do so because the multiplication will be easier).

For your problem:
Numerator: 5 x 15 = 75
Denominator: 3 x 8 = 24
Final fraction: 75/24

Or if you prefer to reduce before multiplying:
15/3 = 5
So 5/8 x 5/1 = 25/8 (reduced form)

25/8 is also equivalent to 3 1/8.

first, multiply the numerator, numbers 5 and 15, then multiply the denominator, numbers 8 and 3.After that reduce the answer into its lowest term by finding its common factor.
the answer is 3 1/8 or 3 and 1/8
