NRI are making lot of money from out side and contributing to Indian economy. and India is not able to give m?

Indian Goverment or private sector is not able to give job for all Indians, In this case the Indians working in Gulf countries r giving a big contribution to our forgin mony. but they r not getting any respect from Indian goverment or government employees. even thay r getting salary from our tax. what government can do in this matter?

I am also an NRI and you have not phrased your question properly about the problems faced by the Gulf based NRIs. The Indian missions in Gulf countries unfortunately try to keep a distance from the middle class and labourers. They are happy to serve the interests of rich business class. But, of late in the past 2 years there is some change and especially Mr.Vyalar Ravi is making a difference.

If any NRI is earning money abroad and remitting it to his family in India, he is doing no favour to the country.The so called foreign Exchange contributed to the Government treasury is already handed over back to him when he converts it into Indian Rupees. Why does he want a preferential treatment over the other citizen who is struggling to make both ends meet and yet is paying a large variety of taxes to the Government, both directly and indirectly through Sales Tax, Octroi etc?

If any person claims superiority over others, that is a sure way to invite contempt and neglect. Those who have gone abroad and have a wider exposure to cultures other than their own should be more polite in their dealings with others and then they will find more doors willingly opening for them.

Why do you say govt is not doing anything, and why should they do anything diff for you? Just becoz you are making more money?

Just now the PBD has completed where govt has given lot of Sops to NRI community.

I think you should stop complaining, as everyone is equal to the govt, whether u are a money making NRI or a normal Indian, so plz don't expect govt or employees to dole out specials to you, what you are contributing is not for the nation but to yourself, and it is also benefiting the nation indirectly, so i don't see any reason why govt or employees should treat NRIs differently

Whether you are NRI or Indian citizen, everybody has to follow certain rules & regulations as per the constitution. Being NRI no one should expect VIP treatment in govt. dept. All have to follow the policies framed by the govt. There should not be short cut in finalising proposals which requires licences & other technical matters.
