Retired Army Gen. Wesley Clark. The man knows both the realm of politics and that of war. He has been a staunch advocate of peace in the middle east, and would use diplomacy to win back the hearts and minds of at least some of the Arab world. He also would be coming to the table with strength, as he would not hesitate to use our military might if deemed necessary. Great leaders of our nation have often used this philosophy with great success... Speak softly, and carry a big stick.

I nominate President Mobutu of Zaire (now Democratic Republic of the Congo).
He retained power against all opposition from 1965 to 1997.

I think my father in law would make an excellent president. He is extremely smart, very courages, and strong willed. He would not tolerate anyone else telling him what to do. He would base his decisions off of what he knew for a fact and not what he thought was being done/said. He is a very strong opinionated man that would not stand for alot of the things that are going on in the USA today.

I think my husband should run for president when he's old enough and after a few years as a mayor or something. Why?... So I can be the first Mexican-American first lady! Also, he has a lot of heart, and he's a good leader.

Elvis Presley. He loved this country and he could make friends with everybody. He'd end the state of the union address with "Thank you, Thank you very much" He served in the military and would be great. He couldn't do any worse than some of our other Presidents. And he could redecorate the White house and the oval office in velvet. ELVIS FOR PRESIDENT.

Martin Luther King Jr. and Ghandi would have been vice president and Mother Teresa would have been secretary of defence. It would have been a peaceful, loving world. Ah but someone would have screwed it up.
