I've never been but am willing to spend as long as I need to see everything there is to see.

Ok...silly question but is Disney World part of Universal Studios or at least in the same general area?

If so, add that to the equation, please and let me know how many days I would need to see both parks.

Long-time Florida resident and Orlando theme park veteran here. I'd recommend 2-3 days for all of Universal Orlando (which is made up of two parks - Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure). Unless the crowds are outrageously large (and they shouldn't be at this time of year), you should be able to do a thorough tour in two days, with a third day to go back and ride anything you liked particularly well.

Walt Disney World is a seperate (competing) group of theme parks, hotels, and shopping complexes. It's is about 10 minutes away from Universal Studios and very different in theming and tone (although Disney's MGM studios and Universal Studios are direct competitors). While Universal's rides tend to be more cutting-edge and thrilling, Disney's focus more on your emotions and sense of wonder. Both resorts are fabulous in their own unique way. If you have time and want to take in a bit of Disney while you're in town, go for it; it's not the most popular theme park destination on Earth for nothing!

well, you might want to spend at least two days in Universal studios because they added Islands of Adventure. that is a larger park and may take a day to a day 1/2 to hit all the rides there. Universal Studios is smaller so you can hit those rides quicker. With Disney world, it is close, but not as close as you may like it. it is about 10-15 minute drive from universal (seriously depending on traffic it may take much longer). it is a great expierence for kids all around. i loved both sets of parks. let me know how everything works out! hope this helped!!

Two days should cover Universal Studios. You might want an extra day if you want to do stuff twice. The Men in Black ride is fantastic. I also love Universal's Islands of Adventure; the Spiderman ride is not to be missed.

Disney has nothing to do with Universal and it's not much fun. I don't like it at all. Almost the entire park is dedicated to small children. Even their roller coasters aren't very good. Skip Disney and drive to Tampa and go to Busch Gardens instead. BG is a much better park for adults

disney is totally different from the universal studios but both parks are pretty close to each other. i would say that you'd need about 2-3 days for unversal studios and maybe 4 for disney world

If you've never been, you should allow two days for Universal, three days for Disney, two days for MGM, and one day for Epcot. Universal is not owned by Disney. All the parks are within a short driving distance of one another.

My family and I where down there for three days and did not see everything we wanted to so I would say a week at least. That way you will not be rushed.
