Monty Brown debuted in ECW on Tuesday as 'The Alpha Male' Marquis Cor Von. I know its tempting to bash everything the WWE does these days but I actually like the gimmick. It suited him in TNA and I hope he goes on to become a top card superstar on ECW. LASHLEY vs COR VON for the title at Wrestlemania!

ive seen him on tonights ECW.did you see the way he scattered that guy Riley? BTW a match-up with him & Lashley would be awesome.

I think the gimmick has potential. At least he was able to keep basically the same gimmick and was able to keep "The Alpha Male" name.
I think making his debut in ECW is the right thing to do. I'm sure that after a few months he'll be moved up to one of the big rosters.

Only thing I didn't like is the music they had for him. Didn't fit at all (of course it's all brand new I'm sure to a lot of WWE fans that haven't watched TNA, I'm just used to the TNA music).
I doubt Vince will push him that quick, esp with his TNA origins. I'm thinking he's gonna put the title on Test or Holly (Test being the more likely candidate due to Vince's love for big mesomorphs).
