1. Conquistador (the "A" in front of it means it's a noun, so it is not a proper name of a person, simply a generic term, however your study materials may have a different term that your paper is looking for).

2. Bureaucracy (more likely than Federalism, which would be the division of power between state and federal governments, not division of services)

3. Habeas Corpus (This allowed dissidents to be imprisoned with no way to challenge their imprisonment.)

4. Nepotism.

2) Federalism
3) Habeus Corpus
4) Spoils

The only one of which I'm not 100% certain is #1. The Conquistadores were not simply bent on subjugation. They were far more about gaining riches for Spain and converts to Christianity.

#2 - Bureaucracy
#4 - Cronies
#1- Conquistador?
#3-Private Balloting/Voting - Filibuster?

Your questions are all over the place - No one came to America seeking to conquer natives...it just happened. Opposition to the civil war was suppressed by keeping votes from being private, by stopping the press from printing certain stories, by stopping the filibuster in congress... - 2 and 4 seem straight forward - the other two are kind of period/year/region specific...

Tell you teacher that these questions are loaded to teach you to be anti-American. Then ask her to resign. She has no business indoctrinating young people, her job is to teach the facts and assist in evaluating them.

Presidents don't just hire their buddies into cabinet positions.

Opposition to the civil war = support for the enslaving of black people

Tell me the name of the explorer who wanted to subjugate American natives, then give me his journal that proves you know what he was thinking and what his motives were.
