The movie Janeman was released in 2006, directed & Written by Shirish Kunder, Leading star cast Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Priety zinta & Anupam Kher.
Story goes like it ....
Suhaan is a college stud, a charming womanizer, and in all aspects the perfect guy for any girl to fall in lust with. Agastya is a nerd, an intelligent geek, who has problems even communicating let alone dating a girl. Piya is the college beauty, the princess, a girl that every boy dreams would fall in love with him. Both lads are in love with her. College finishes and the three go on their different paths in life. Ten years pass. Suhaan the stud now lives in his dream world having achieved all ambitions in life, except love. The nerd lives in his own world, doing what a geek does best; working hard while others make the money. He still pines for love. The college beauty now lives alone with no sight of love in life. Then one sunny afternoon the three accidentally meet. Suhaan's immaturity brings his life to a crises point, he is on the verge of losing everything, until he meets an old college friend, Agastya Rao, a sweet shy simple bespectacled man, who believes in the power of love over good looks and star status. It was released in diwali 2006 on 20th Oct on the same day as DON. It had a good opening but i am not sure if it did good business. Personally i think there were too many songs in the movie and it was a bit slow but the story was ok.
