A thorough no-spin understanding of economics is in order. The works of Henry George, particularly "Progress and Poverty" still provide a masterful examination of the problem, as well as a "remedy."
It involves placing taxes on land values, thereby ending unjustified taxation, predominant worldwide. George contends that this would put an end to land speculation, as well as stimulate growth by giving people 100% of what they work for.

However, this remedy depends on having laws built to enforce it, and those who now control the world's powerful institutions are not likely to go for it.
George points out that we currently treat Land as if it were Capital, which is the primary scientific failing in our current economic system. The practice allows people to buy as much land as they please, and hold it out of use and charge others whatever they can get for the "privilege" of using it.

Well worth a read, as unlikely as the remedy may seem, it at least sets you to visualizing what needs to happen for bridging the gap. Give honest rewards to those who earn them, and don't give economic rewards to people who don't earn them.
Just do a web search for ole Henry George. He was quite a good guy, self-educated, and a real enemy of the land monopoly. A true humanitarian.

bridging the hollow between the wealthy and the undesirable isn't the major to monetary success because that is almost no longer plausible to bridge the type of surprising hollow. the authorities has no elements to bridge the type of gap as those with jobs and pay taxes to make a contribution to nationwide progression are outnumbered by technique of those who're unempoloyed. each president that i'll undergo in ideas (from Marcos to GMA) all stated they are going to advance the living circumstances of the undesirable. wager what, the undesirable maintains to be undesirable regardless of each thing those years. the unhappy section is, those that were once component of the "center type" are literally also undesirable. If ever something might want to correctly be performed, i believe the authorities might want to strengthen the nation-state. imagine if the capital of each province might want to be developed right into a metro city (presently we in common words have Metro Manila, Metro Cebu, Metro Davao). once each province has metro city, human beings will no longer save flocking to Metro Manila to hunt more effective perfect opportunities (even as there are none in recent times and they are going to likely nonetheless be in basic terms as undesirable as they were interior the province) as they want no longer go back and forth some distance. so some distance as i understand, each senator has one hundred twenty million in beef barrel and each congressman has 70 million in beef barrel. if in common words those politicians in common words use their beef barrel (tax payers' funds by technique of ways) for the shape of their respective jurisdiction, each province must have a minimum of one rich city by technique of now. A 6 3 hundred and sixty 5 days time period in place of work @ 70 million a three hundred and sixty 5 days is Php420 million. This quantity of money, if in common words properly spent, and consistently be properly spent one time period after yet another, can turn any provincial capital right into a bustling city. having said that, understanding our filipino politicians, asa pa tayo... c",
