No.
I believe that within the next 15 years, there will be a treatment to add about 15 prime years to our lives. I'm 47 years old now, so it's already too late for me. LOL.

I think that scientist are some of the most intelligent and lucky people in the world and on the other hand they can sometimes be very wrong . In this case im not sure. I don't think it right to say things aren't possible. Life can change it already has over the years. upon asking this question "can we live forever" you would be ruling out the fact there could be a higher power...But if we could live forever I would definitely want to be on that boat!!!!

What is meant by forever ? If the Universe is still expanding and is a middle aged Universe. Then, no. The Universe is supposed to be at least 10 000 000 000 years old. Making humans live 1000 years is a few zeroes short. Our lives are obsolete biologically-reproductively. Once we become infertile. If we have an overpopulation, evergy and GLobal warming crisis on hand now. What good are rich 200-1000 year olds going to be on Earth hogging most of the resources, power and wealth infront of desperate, hungry and young 20,30,40 somehitngs ?

*snort* So they should be curing that AIDS in the next 5. And they're on a good 3 year delay on that wonder working diet pill.
Something's telling me that can't be done; the only cells that naturally can replicate til the end of time are cancer cells, and I don't know any healthy cell types that can pull that off.
But personally I believe there is zero reason to have people live that long right now, and if they're even trying to gear towards that I'd be irritated; there are more important things to do. Like dealing with the population boom, environment, etc.

Not likely. Cell replication deletes a bit of information from the chromosomes each time it happens, except for the germ cells which have a special mechanism to avoid this. There is enough spare material at the end of each chromosome to support forty or so divisions, but after that you start getting into the good stuff and replication suffers. Thus, absent a complete re-structuring of how cell division happens, a life span of about 130 years is tops.

I believe the only way to live forever is by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and following Him. Scientists will never accomplish it. Only the God who created us can.

No, I don't think they can find a way. Maybe they're only find ways to shorten our ages. There's many medicine that says anti-aging, but the truth is you will always die before 200 years old...
