existence continuously has which ability. i'd no longer undergo in ideas each determination i have made--or maybe maximum selections, to be honest, considering i'm horribly forgetful--yet each determination has helped me develop into the fellow i'm now. Even the forgotten reports have enriched my existence in some small way, and how can that no longer have which ability? besides, even as I have the psychological means of a goldfish living in a bottle of vodka and seem thoroughly incapable of remembering something in any respect, i do not imagine my reminiscence will be this undesirable interior the subsequent existence. I forget issues because i'm too somewhat distracted, because i'm human and function too many obstacles, yet that likely isn't the case interior the subsequent existence. i imagine we are going to be in a position to undergo in ideas each thing interior the existence after this, and that i'm confident that we could also undergo in ideas lots of the failings we've already forgotten. we are going to undergo in ideas our childhoods and our loved ones from this existence, and if our attitude is eternal, i imagine which will in common words brighten our ideas of our mortal lives. lack of life and the ensuing immortality will in common words develop what this existence has given us, no longer take from it.

No one knows the question. Earth was going to be the calculator to find that out, but was destroyed five minutes before they could find out. Ironically, if the Volgons were five minutes late they would see that the universe doesn't need Intergalactic bypasses anymore. That's what makes the book so funny.

No the Ultimate question was never given. The question was suppose to be calculated by the super computer but the super computer created another computer (Earth) to figure out the question. Well as I'm sure you know Earth was destroyed to make way for a new super highway. So therefore no Ultimate question.

Why should we spoil it. Keep reading it. It does give a silly question for the answer. More profound statements are made earlier in the story.
