I've been playing texas hold'em on poker.com... the thing is my mother language isn't english, so I don't really know what freeroll means.

For example, I've been playing free torunaments, and the description on it says "$50 Freeroll" where $50 is the prize for first place. I want to know if those $50 are REAL MONEY, or just play money. I would prefer if someone familiar with poker, com software answers. Than you very much.

The game poker, a card game where you often play for money, involves lying about what cards you have, tricking other players into thinking you have a good hand even if it sucks. This means you have to have a 'poker face', a facial expression to cover how you actually feel about your cards. Watch Casino Royale and you'll get a better idea of it.

Enter for free but play for real prize money. Great way to get practice for free. some freerolls are much more than that.

$50 is the total prize pool, not 1st prize. It is probably divided up between a bunch of players. But yes, if u win you win real money.
