Not only should you worry about the temperature (max. 70 C) inside the film case, but also about the Hydrogen gas that can build up inside. It is OK for discharging (using) the battery, but for charging, I would not recommend to use a un-vented enclosure.

There are kinds of rechargeable batteries (i anticipate we are talking about AA length right here). the instantly ahead ones are alkaline, NiCad, NiMH. each and each form has a distinct charge and discharge fee and can want to opt for its own charger, so i does no longer use a charger made for alkaline batteries to charge NiCad or NiMH batteries, or any opposite direction round. in case your Duracell and Sanyo batteries (and their chargers) are a similar form, i'd experience safer. you could make sure that by checking the labels on the batteries and chargers. Even interior of a similar form besides the undeniable fact that, chargers can nonetheless have distinct charge and discharge prices, measured by their mA values. it truly is what helps some chargers do do a "speedy charge" that takes in reality 15 min to carry a battery back to easily about complete. in case you do not use the right charger designed for the batteries (yet similar form), i think it would want to take you longer to charge the batteries than it truly is meant to take.
