I have had this horrible sleeping habit for about 4 years now. I sleep with my forehead on the wall. Basicly I lean my head on the wall when i sleep. THis has casued my forehead to turn brown and mushy and it looks very bruised. I stoped sleeping like this and it is still the same. Will it turn back normal? If not are there any ways to fix it?

1.) Make absolutely sure that you're no longer sleeping with your head against any walls by moving your bed at least 8-10 inches away from any wall in the room. If you have already done this, skip to #2.
2.) Make sure that both your mattress and pillow are soft, with no hard or dense objects inside or beneath them.
3.) Lying down, gently place a warm, damp cloth on your forehead; If it hurts, see #4. If not, see #5.
4.) If there is any pain in your forehead or if you start having problems with your vision, balance, coordination, reflexes, etc. or if dark shadows begin showing up underneath your eyes, see a doctor IMMEDIATELY! You could have trauma to the cranium, such as a fracture.
5.) If there is no pain or motor changes as described in #3, continue to treat the bruise with alternating cool and warm compresses for the next 48 hours as often as your schedule allows. Keep cool on for about 10-20 minutes, leave it off for 10-20 minutes, then switch with warm for 10-20 minutes.
6.) If the bruise shows no signs of improvement after about 3 days, see a doctor, as you may have something more serious wrong.

it should turn back to normal, or you have already damaged the blood vessels around your forehead, thats probably why its brown. if it is a bruise, it should heal back.
