0.010101cm cubed =x meters cubed
What am I doing wrong?
Step 1.) 0.0101010cm cubed x (1000 cm/1 m) x (1000 cm/1) x (1000 cm/1)
Step 2. I'm stuck with10,100,000
Using significant figures and scientific notation, is 101x10^5meters cubed my answer or....because my initial problem started with 4 sig digits is my answer actually 1010x 10^4 meters cubed?

Thanks in advance

I see two problems here.
First 1 m = 100 cm, not 1,000
Second, you have your conversion fractions inverted.
(0.010101 cm^3)(1 m/100 cm)(1 m/100 cm)(1 m/100 cm)
=
resorting to scientific notation,
(1.0101*10^-2 cm^3)(1 m^3/10^6 cm^3) =
1.0101*10^-8 m^3

0.010101cm cubed=(1.0101*10^-2)*((10^-2m)^3)
=(1.0101*10^-2)*(10^-6) m^3
=1.0101*(10^-8) m^3

It's 1m / 100cm

0.0101010 cm³ x (1m /100 cm) x (1m /100 cm) x (1m /100 cm)
=0.0101010 cm³ x 1m³ /1,000,000cm³
=1.0101 x 10^(-2)cm³ x 1m³/10^cm³
=1.0101 x 10^(-8)m³
