doomsday - not much of a warning -wham !!!
wedding - the planning, the engagement ring, the caterers, the church, the flowers, the bachelor/bachelorette party, the rehearsal, the rehearsal dinner, paying it off for the next few years, etc... that only FEELS like doomsday(s)!

On doom days you don't have to take vows that ultimately leaves you screwed for the rest of your live.... Yes, that is pretty much it.
