Excellent question but I do not know why either, even if mice could step forward and volunteer for the job I'm not sure there would be very many (mice) takers! All kidding aside ...you may be on to a million dollar deal. The best to you.

Think you're onto a winner there, they could also make bird, frog and bat flavour too, or whatever next my cat chooses to rip into little bits for me to clean up lol.

Maybe it's because there are some regulations about that. I know there are FDA regulations on human food, but I'm not sure about pet food, maybe another organization regulates that. I'm not an expert, just an opinion.

Probably because cats don't kill mice to eat them or because they like the taste, they just kill out of hunting instinct.
