You have to find out what your destiny is first!

Destiny is a matter of personal opinion. I think there are things that are Destined and things that are changeable in life. I believe that my husband and I were destined to meet and I'll tell you why. It seemed like only a matter of it being the right timing and the right circumstance that we met as we had plenty of opportunity and just didn't realize it.

We grew up around the corner from each other, never met. As adults we shopped the same grocery store on the same days at the same times, we went to the same Starbucks at about the sametimes each day, we worked across the road from each other, we lived down the street from each other and were jogging on the same nights.. and were going to the same gym on the same nights.
Never met until one night we each changed the time we went to the gym because of things that had happened at work that day... and that's where we met and have been together ever since. I moved in with him 2 months later.. bought a house 8 months later, got married a year later.. now 7 years, 3 houses and 2 kids later we are still together and I still say it was Fate or Destiny.

You decide for yourself. Change the most miniscule thing in your daily life and see what transpires. See if things that might normally would have happened don't.

Our destiny is open to change because we as humans have a free will, we can make choices in life that ultimately change the future. I think that we hear of premonitions, dreams, and Deja vu that seem to predict the future- we wonder if we in fact have a destiny when we think of these. But these are more I think related to our ability to use senses we do not usually use and sense things- kind of like esp- we use only around 10% of our senses at any given time- proved by blind people that have more attuned hearing for example, or a more bonded connection to other humans. Also there is just coincidence and the way we interpret these premonitions. I think for example twins have a connection that cannot be explained. Some people seem to be more "psychic" than others. is this a skill we develop? Anyway- we have choices about some things, but since others also make choices that affect our destiny we do not have total control.

It depends on the way you live your life. If you let your self go on with whatever u think as destiny, then it would lead you to what you are not. Nor destiny can change us nor can we change our destiny, if you are not living u r destiny then it can be said that destiny will change us. What matter a lot is the way you chose to live, we have our own specific character and destiny. Most of the ppl don't know what is their destiny and so they live a lie and in the sense it could be said that we can change our destiny, it depends on what you think not how the world works.

Nothing is set in concrete, you make choices every day that can change your life.

If you think your life direction is set because of rules of conformity, say by the wishes (be they good intentioned or misguided) of parents and peers, and you don't like the direction this is taking you, have the courage to change it.

You can do anything and be anything you want, and then when you become what you think you wanted, you have the choice to change that and do something else. Destiny and life purpose can fall into the same category. Problem is you can spend 50 years of your life trying to find what that purpose is and all the time missed out on life!!!

So how do you change - you just do it.

A person cannot change their destiny, your destiny is a pre-determined plan for your life that is set in stone. IF we could see the future and know our destinies, it would be alot eaiser to "change", but this wouldn't change a thing because it would only mold and shape our destiny.

First of all, I've never believed in "destiny," if you mean that our lives are predetermined. I've always considered myself the captain of my life's ship, the director of my life's play, and if I didn't like the way things were going, it was up to me to make changes. And I always have. And I'm happy the way things have turned out.

You have to believe in destiny...if you believe in destiny I don't think you can change it...but if you don't believe in destiny you can make anything you want with yourself.

a tough one to answer
it depends on what you understand by "destiny'
geneticists will tell you that everyone's existence is no less than 70%-but probably closer to 80%-predisposed by their genetics...
that includes every aspect of ones exstence...thoughts, emotions, abilities, sickness/health, intelligence, etc etc etc....

that means that each of us has at least 20%-30% "choice" in our lives...
therefore, each of us has the choice to develop our lives and make choices to live the best we can...
if that is "destiny", then we all change our destiny constantly

You can't, that's why it is called destiny...

Whether you turn left or turn right you will still at the end be on that what we called "destiny" or "final destination"...
