It is hard to identify a person within 5-10 minutes, even a bit longer. However, I can identify a person's characters after worked together for few months.
Are there any methods or ways I can use to identify a person's characters in short time?

Its easy. Some people can ususally find out that person's personality within 5 minutes of observing, and it doesn't even have to be interaction with that person. All you need to do is remeber the attributes of a person's charachter that you definatley know and base what you see on that, your control. I'll bet you that if you describe that person you observe for a few minutes silently and then wait a few hours or days later-your assumption/"first impression" will hold true.

It just takes some people longer than others to figure people out.
Usually, I can accurately determine someones character within 10-15 seconds of meeting them.
It's kind of like reading a book, or watching a movie: If you're not hooked in the first 5 minutes, or by the second paragraph, you might as well get your money back, it's not going to get any better.

Drop your wallet "accidentally" and walk away. Within seconds, you can identify the character of the person.

most people form an opinion about someone the frist 30 seconds. So with having 5 to 10 you should be able to. Focus on their body language, eyes, smile, how much they talk, what they talk about it. That should help you.

No, because people present a "persona" to the world, and it takes a long time to get to know anyone even reasonably well. Truth is : we never REALLY know anyone; we onlt think we do!
