I'm not certain it's possible to always avoid extreme violence. Yes, to commit murder is wrong, but it is instinctual behavior to protect and defend yourself or your loved ones. I don't happen to see anything wrong with defending someone who can't protect
their self. Not everyone is able to use restraint when they are faced with such life or death situations. This often results in excessive force, and unfortunately serious injuries and death.
Some Buddhists train in martial arts to reinforce the religious and philosophical tenets of Buddhism. They don't train to kill others, rather they train to protect life.
Yes violence is escalating in our world, but can you turn your back on it? No! you must face it and do what you can to lessen the violence around you.

Such a cute question.
Question 1) Can you stop two people (your size) that want to fight eachother?
Question 2) Do you want the mean-aggressor-winner in this fight to live near you, when they are accostomed to the POWER that goes with their ability/willingness and everyone else's enabling attitude?
Question 3) Do you want to live in this neighborhood, as more and more people see the only way to survive is to get tough and kick ***?
Question 4) When will you hire a 3rd party, Police, to instill decency and blind justice?
Question 5) Will you pay the rent, and feed, those who will not act decent in the name of common good?
Will you take ACTION now? Or do you prefer to be brutilized? Why should you sustain those who would kill and take what you earn? Isn't life tough enough as is?
If you can't deter THUG life, or get away from it, you have to meet it HEAD-ON. Kinda make you a thug huh? No, it doesn't. You fight with sorrow and rightousness.

I can justify self defense (either he raped me or I shot him), but even that is a stretch. However, I see nothing wrong with abortion, because when it is performed within the first trimester, the fetus doesn't even have a complete nervous system and cannot feel pain, and if the mother would not want this child, or was too young to care for the child and herself I think that it is a wise action to terminate the pregnancy.

No, life is NOT intrinsicaly important. How can you justify that? You life is important to you, and your friends and family. But in the grand sceme of things, not so much.
In fact, while warring on a world level has not gone up, the percentage of children who reach the age of 4 has gone up.

Today is much better knowing how to protect your self since you will never today in what condition you will be. If you presently consume factor a self protection than you need to know that you do not require to pay a great deal or income and time to get at classes because the best choice in home safety is the program https://tr.im/Bo4V6 , the Patriot Self Defense on line program.
The Patriot Self Defense is really a unique point since you do not require to spend weeks in education to perfect them. Additionally, the truly amazing movie demonstrations presented allow it to be easy to understand everything and grasp the practices in rather a short time.

Do you think every other species of animal in the world sit around and think of ideas like this. Death is a part of life no matter what way you die.
I'm not saying I'm for the wars and murder, all I'm trying to say is people, just like all other living things on this earth will do whatever it takes to survive. Believe that.

You have errantly generalized all killing as murder. Even the Bible delineates, as the sixth commandment is best translated "Thou shalt not Murder". Although many have used the word "Kill", they are not the same.
Murder is senseless, pointless, wrongly inspired killing.
However, even the Bible states that killing as punishment or in war are okay. After all, even God in the Old Testament ORDERED the Israelites to "wipe out the inhabitants of the land." Contrast this with the sixth commandment that the same God gave to Moses, and it especially becomes clear that there is delineation of the terms.
I often find it odd that there are so many people who ignore God, yet worry about animals or killing. If we put our trust in God, He always works it out. In the end, the more important lesson is that God says to not fear him who can kill your body, but fear Him who can kill your soul.

When a human commits a crime that takes the life of another or damages the soul of another, they in turn loose their soul and are nothing more than an animal to be culled from the herd. If a dog becomes mad do you invite it into your house to watch over your child or do you put it down?

So if someone was molesting your child, broke into your house and attacked you or some other similiar situation, you would just let them do it? You would not defend yourself or your child? I do not believe in or condone violence, but I will defend myself and my family. I would never 'consciounsely' kill someone, but if it a matter of them or my family, my families safety is definately my priority. A person who violates another human being is obviously ready to accept the consequences of their actions because some of us arent going to stand there and take it.

So what do you do, stand there whilst someone murders you or a loved one. Tries to take your life away, or invades your homeland & force their ways upon you , slavery forced labour, concentration camps , children & wives molested , torture , the very fabric of life being destroyed in front of your own eyes. Sure we all say we want peace , love , singing birds ,, rainbows. Here is the truth... IT IS IN OUR NATURE TO DESTROY OURSELVES. Until or if a global catastrophic event forces everyone to come together in unity we will continue to lie , cheat steal & murder. Until you have (& GOD forbid), you have been in a position to kill or be killed you are in no position to pass judgement on those of us unfortunate enough to have been faced with this terrible reality. Honestly what a naive view you have.
