What type of flat screen LCD TV, Plasma TV or LCD Monitor?

If it is a LCD computer monitor, then you should just need to connect a VGA cable.

If you are trying to connect it to a TV, then it will be dependent on the connections on the TV and your laptop. Most laptops can only connect up to s-video. Some TV's might have VGA ports on it.

As for audio, you will need to 3.5mm mini-jack to red/white RCA audio cable to connect to the TV or sound system.

All you should need is a RGB cable. First you would need to check your laptop and screen and make sure there is a port (usually blue colored) that has something like 36 pins or something, and jsut get a cable that will fit both sides.

Plug (not the power cord) the only computer cable connection coming out of the back of you monitor into the only connection that it will fit in the back of your computer.
