You cannot do it seasonally. It is a profession that you have to do continuously to stay at the top of your game. They might offer part time all year, but it will not be offered seasonally. Training alone will take you upwards of 3 months full time to complete so you can work alone.
Requirements are usually HS diploma, no criminal past, typing at a reasonable WPM rate, clear speech, valid drivers license, etc...

Word of advice, the cops never come quick enough anyways. I would think about doing something better for this world. Be a tree-hugger or make it a point to tell the popos when there is an actual emergency!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!912!!!
