I see no reason why it should be. It is not white, it is not black, and I have yet to see a green person. It is nonracial and a black DOLLAR bill would possibly be easier to reproduce (counterfeit). Our current dollar bill is on a paper that is very difficult to reproduce and has taken decades to perfect...

Green represents money so well because it's green which is the color of envy and jealousy which is what acummulation of it brings... so it's fitting that money is green....
