i don't think you've got one-first off, it's spelled Stradivarius-and second, Stradivarius wasn't manufacturing violins after the 18th century. And Stradivarius is ITALIAN, not JAPANESE.
Jeez.

Your violin was not made by Antonio Stradivari, if that's what you're wondering, because he built his violins between 1644 and 1737 in Cremona, Italy -- not Japan. The only way to determine the value of an instrument like this is to take it to a professional appraiser. I've been offering this service for over thirty years now and would need to hold the violin in my hands in order to offer a valid determination of authenticity and value.

If you are simply trying to price it for sale, you might try looking up violins for sale on the Web and take a look at their pictures and prices. If you can find one that is similar to yours, then you might have a ballpark idea as to what amount of money you might try asking for it.

Good luck in your search.
