im sick of rice burners all over the road. they think they are fast and everything but most of them are just stock. what happened to good ol american muscle? i love takin my chevelle out and just burnin em. anyone else with me when i say real muscle over rice burner?

Well of course there are alot of us that are with you. I use to hate those foreign POS and couldn't understand why these kids were buying them.
My first car was a 71 Camaro. I now drive a 67 Camaro, but now I think I understand why these kids drive these cars. When I was 15 you could buy an old muscle car for a grand or sometimes less and fix em up pretty cheap. But now....I bought my 67 Camaro for $15,000 and that was cheap for that car.
The value of the original American Muscle car has risen so drastically that most of the kids have no choice but to buy some "rice burner". I know I couldn't have forked over $15 grand when I was 15 years old. Hell, I can't do it now, but now I have credit and can finance it.
So...give em a break..as few of these American legends as there are left and the prices they are going for it has turned into an adults only market pretty much, and the cars made in the 80s didn't leave todays kids much to work on. I actually feel sorry for the kids today.

Budget...???

I Like many Cars and own way to many.
If its Fast, I'll drive it.

5 69 GTO's, 1 70 GTO, 1 71 GTO, F350 Turbo 475hp, and Ztec 4 cylinder 380hp.... 1 Grandson SS El Camino 454, 1 Grandson with a Eagle TSI AWD guess the HP... And the List goes on...

My freakin stepson drives a GEO XFi 3 cylinder... Yes I canged the cam and timing and he doesn't know but he sure likes driving it more since. That car I'm not a fan of. I told him to get a SuZuki GTI 1.6 if he was going to stay with a GEO car...

Over all I feel if its got a Steering Wheel and Tires it can be made to be Fun... Stereo and Paint Does help.

F imports. My mostly stock 4 banger Mustang wins every time. I think it's because of the 350cfm Holley and the header. I spent like $300.00 and added 40 to 80hp. Lets see a rice grinder add that much hp with out replacing the motor and for $300.00.

Oh come on you ought to know nothing is faster than a Honda. Lots of stickers Dual fart cans big ugly wings etc. You can't touch that. Muscle cars all the way!! Did you ever notice that when you talk about what they have for power they start talking about there stupid sound system.

You know , the those cars are probably decent cars for what they were made for (economy) Its the AZZHOLES driving them that are obnoxious , even if the had a real muscle car you would still hate them. I remimber a kid in school that swore his stock slant 6 would do 160mph . But yeah , the bumble bee want-to-bees are funny.

I call them zip zap cars and they are peaces of **** and are not fast at all!! I have two 66' gtos and a 68 dodge coronet. i love to take one of the gtos out and show the ricers what a real car is.

oh ya i love to run those little p.o.s. off the road. even though i have a truck (93 chevy s-10 4.3 5-speed 4x4) and i can rip some mean rubber off those tires
