Iraq is in civil war. we will stand down. and prepare with the alliances to take out tom

Bush isn't paranoid. The truth is, there is going to be fallout if our troops are withdrawn ... but we wouldn't have to worry about that if he hadn't gotten us involved in this war to begin with. Iraq is never going to recover, whether our troops are there or not. It doesn't matter whether we leave next month, or 10 years from now ... Iraq is going to break out in total civil war. The thing that we have to remember is that extremists are willing to wait things out ... and we can't stay there and keep order forever. If you look at the new strategy to send more troops ... the amount that Bush plans to send over will only make up for the losses and put us at about the same amount of troops we had to begin with ... and having that number didn't realy make that much of a difference! Bush simply can't admit that this whole thing was a mistake and a failure. People back this war by saying that it is to fight terrorists. I don't doubt that terrorists exist in Iraq, but how many other countries harbor them also? And unfortunately, we can't continue the real "war on terror" because we are so caught up in Iraq.

1. I don’t think Bush is even bothered.
2. There were not many civil wars before America invaded IRAQ, at least not to the extent of what is happening now. Iraq was developing very well before he invaded. The current situation has become worse. On one side there are civil wars and on other side, fight for freedom (even this is considered as terrorist activity in Bush's terms). it purely looks like, he is adding more fuel to the fire, so he can stay longer.
Who knows, the Oil wells are still present and not fully drained.
Iraq cannot recover now, because it was damaged enough. Even if America stays for longer time, it will only create more damage rather than helping them to recover. If Bush really wants Iraq to recover, he should have provided IRAQ, financial and other resources to strengthen their government. He shouldn't send more troops for damaging more. If he does it, after America leaves, yes Iraq will recover (obviously, it has to recover by some means) but mostly should have to start recovering from some where near Stone Age.

Question One
Dude, Bush isn't "paranoid" about a damn thing--he could not possibly care less about anything outside of what he WANTS !!
Question Two
Iraq will NEVER EVER RECOVER under any circumstances at all for the everlasting eternity---Iraq is gone---what you see now is a name placed on a map to give a name to a PLACE -- there is nothing there of anything to recover to--- it is history -- period !!
And that is with OR without American troops !! It is and will forever remain a SHELL of its former self --- empty---devoid of true national identity and common cause---And, that, my friend is one of the biggest and saddest of all the tragedies involved in this thing----- the other is the growing number of American lives that have been spent on a people who hate us and don't have a clue in hell what we are trying to accomplish FOR them---and really who can blame THEM because all they've seen to date in this LIBERATION that we have "accomplished" there is consistant bloodshed and dying in the streets !!!

G.W. doesn't have a CLUE what he's doing...-So paranoia is not his problem. And someday- Iraq WILL get back on it's feet again, probably with another military tyrant at its helm, long after the last American soldier has fled the country... Such is the nature of that part of the world. Ask around...- the Russians know it, & so do the English, and so do the Turks, -and on & on it goes... Hmm- I wonder how G. W. did in his World History classes when he was a little cowpoke... -Bet he didn't Ace 'em! :)

I wish it was different but I see no way out unless the country is divided into three countries and we stay and provide stability for a long time. They are in a civil war now although no one in the US wants to call it that. Compare what the commison and suggested and what Bush is doing. It seems that he didn't read it carefully. He once said that he didn't care if the only ones who liked him were his wife and dog. Right now I'm not so sure about his dog.

Queston 1: No - he isn't paranoid about fallout - he doesn't care.

Question 2: No - we, and our great-grandchildren will be helping Iraq to clean up the mess that Bush made.

He's not paranoid. Just look at how things are going over there. If we pull out now their violence will keep raging (with no one to keep it somewhat moderated) that will tear their country apart. As a matter of fact it already looks like civil war to me. I just wish it was never started in the first place. I think its going to be a long hall. He's gotta finish what he started. But I wonder if he can.

No, Bush cannot accept the fact that he doesn't know
what he is doing and is failing at yet another
important assignment he has been given. He thinks
he's God's man and won't listen to more intelligent
advice.
