It depends on what you mean by some sort of god. Only GOD can make you a god. If you are a christian then your bible tells you that He made you in the likeness of Himself and that you are as He is in the earth. But don't let it go to your head. I believe that the bible means that we are gods in the since that God gave us powere and dominion in the earth. For instance who are the most intellectual beings, who govern cities, he have founded great technologies man or beast? Man of course. Our ability to reason, govern and dominate (do apes put us in zoos) makes us god like. As you focus on rather or not you are a god it's important to desire to be god like which is godly. God likeness is being kind, merciful, forgiving, loving, good. If you fail to be these things then I'd say you are less of a god and more of a devil.
