You are correct. The correct interpretation is that you can't eat your cake and have it too. You can't have two diametrically opposing things at the same time. Unless you are a women then you can have what ever you want of course even if it is impossible. My wife has had her damn cake and eaten it on many occasions.

i think having your cake would consist of eating it but who cares right theres like an unlimited amount of cakes.
