But over this year at school we have been spending a lot more time with each other. she always says how i am her best friend, but i really dont like her that much. and latley she has been driving me so crazy that at the end of the day i come home crying! i am giving her hints that i dont want to be her friend anymore, but she doesent get it. i tryed being not so nice to her but she doesent care! i dont know what to do but just come out and say it that i dont think we should be friends anymore, but i dont think she deserves it that harsh. what should i do?

Well it really seems like she wants to be your friend. Try to find out why she's clinging to you by questions like "So, how's life?" I'm really sorry to hear that this person is so unbearably annoying that she makes you cry. If you want to get rid of her I suggest finding a friend that could hang around her for a long time. Maybe that might get her off your case. If worse comes to worse and you can't take it anymore just tell her your not friends. I would choose my words carefully if I were you though. I would say "Look, I'm really not comfortable with you clinging to me all the time. I just need some time apart from you" or something of that nature.

i don't think you really want to lose her as a friend right? you just want her out of your hair even for just a few moments..

my mom always tell me: its easy to make enemies and hard to make friends. as much as possible avoid doing anything harsh with her. you may never know how she will retaliate especially if she's that clingy.

spend less time with her by spending more time as a group. look for other friends and join them. even if she still clings on to you, you'll have other friends for support.

good luck!!!
