When breeders put their kids up for adoption, who else do you expect to raise them? The State and Government can do only so much and orphanages are over flowing with kids who need homes and foster parents. Its not a matter of sexual orientation, its a matter of giving a child & or children a loving home.

Oh my gosh no. All the children that have been adopted by gay/lesbian couples should be returned immediately to the orphanage/endless cycle of foster home where they will be much better off than if they were in a stable loving home. In case you haven't caught on, this is sarcastic. Have straight couples really proved themselves to be perfect and faultless when it comes to raising children? Why on earth would it be fair to not allow gay/lesbian couples to raise a family?

Just so everyone knows, I know not all foster homes and orphanages are negative experiences, and I also know there are other ways for gay/lesbian couples to have children.

Why not? They raise kids and have been doing so for decades if not centuries and have been doing so successfully. What is more fair?A child in an orphanage or in an abusive situation or a child with two loving people who will care for the child and give that child all the advantages in life that the child might otherwise be denied elsewhere?

SURE IS... having kids is a natural right.

if you are going to stop gays raising kids, I'd put in a vote to stop YOU having kids, because by the tone of the question you don't seem like a very nice guy.

Should nasty people be allowed to raise kids? It could do them damage.

why must you address you question with 'hey homosexuals"? quite disappointed, as i always like your most of your answers u attended.

so long the person can financially and mentally support and care for the kids, a straight single man or bi-man also can raise kids.

i'm not going to read any of your answer from now on....

Do you believe that sexual orientation should determine who in society does or does not have the right to raise children? Seriously?

Of course homosexuals can and SHOULD raise children, if they desire to do so. The ability of an individual or couple to raise children has absolutely nothing to do with their sexual orientation.

well times r a changing and being gay is so common now coz its all out in the open, i suppose the only argument against it is that the kid will feel different at school when all his friends refer to their parents as mum and dad, so my respose would be for the next generation that it should be ok but until its completly out in the open these couples should refer to eachother as friends in front of the kid and keep their love for eachother a temporary secret in front of the child, then when it gets old enough to understand maybe they can tell.

I know lots of gay couples that have adopted or had children through artificial means. They have turned out to be some of the most LOVING, amazing parents I have ever seen... and their children have grown up much more normal than half of the brain-washed-with-christianity-til-they-drool-homophobic-tendencies children.

I say yes. What did you expect though? I agree that this is like asking a vegan if it's okay to not eat meat or a woman if she should have the same rights.
