Does the baby start to move more or less right before you start getting contractions or waters breaking?

Can you feel the baby move when you are in the very early stages of labour?

In my experience I found that, though the baby does move a bit, its very minimal. Don't forget that at the point of labor, your baby is (usually) in the birthing position so you don't want them moving that much anyways. As for actually feeling the baby move, I'd have to say, again in my experince, no. Once you start having contractions, thats pretty much all you feel. So don't worry if you don't feel your baby moving, its all perfectly normal...I had two healthy babies with almost the same experiences regarding this topic. Good Luck, Best of Health to you and your little one.

Usually your baby moves a little bit more in the early stages, eventually he/she starts to run out of room.

Actually the baby quiets right down a few days before labor. It's saving up all it's energy for it's debut into the world!!
