My computer is automatically Duplicating Files on my Hard Drive. It seems to be copying files from one drive to another including folders. It is dropping them in random folders. My hard drive is increasing by about 200 files per hour. The odd thing is all files that are duplicated are not actual copies they just have the same name and extension and are all exactly 140 bytes. The file looks normal in the icon but does not open. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

This sounds like you have a virus or a worm. If it is a worm, it keeps doing crazy things and you will have to reinstall Windows. I had this happen not long ago. I was told that we get a worm when we download some programs. Sorry, it is bad news.
