Don't worry about having your period just yet. My mom didn't get hers until she was 16, and there's nothing you can do to speed up the process. If I was you I'd be more worried about being a kid than having your period. Most women wish they didn't have a period, after having it for a few years!

Unless your underweight, I've heard rumors that the growth hormones in milk and meat products can cause sexual maturation to occur sooner. This is not a confirmed report but girls at the age of 7-8 are getting their's occasionally and more frequently now than five years ago.

According to a few of my girlfriends, you don't want it.

So if you wanna go with the speculation, chomp on some hamburgers and drink some good old fashion milk, wouldn't hurt your calcium or protien levels either.

Breast size has nothing to do with whether you can get your period or not. At 13, it's not too late although I understand that you are getting very anxious (I remember the feeling!) In any case, just continue to live a healthy lifestyle. Sometimes if you're underweight, you don't get your perioud. If you start getting to be in the mid to late teens and you still haven't gotten your period, you can ask a doctor about it.

If you feel this way when you turn 20, maybe it'd be time to see a doctor. There are chromosomal syndromes that sterilize females (being XO instead of XX, for example, would render you infertile and unable to ovulate, etc.) But I highly doubt it's anything like that. Just be patient, and prepared. I wasn't expecting mine, so I didn't have anything to put on when it started and I was in 8th grade gym class, and I had to ride the school bus home afterward, too!

I don't know why? but did they all get there's on the same day and time? And I don't get it, what in the world does your breasts size (34B) have to do with it anyway?

Maybe if you were still in that training bra your period would have come by now or is it because you have not reach that 34DD?

I know I'm gonna sound like a totally shallow pig male for saying this, but, it's been my experiance that the girls who started menstruating later usually end up being of the more attractive variety. I'm sure that's not always the case, but, the ugg ugg heffers seem to be the ones that started menstruating at 9 years old

My 12 yr old daughter went from August to January without menstrating. We asked her doctor last week if there might be something wrong. She told us that girls who are very active in sports can definitely have delayed or very irregular periods. Sure enough, she started again a couple of days later. Breast size has nothing to do with it. Girls start menstrating anywhere from 9 yrs old (I knew a couple of girls who started at that age) to at least 16. As the others suggested...ask your doctor if you still haven't started in the next year or so.

You've absolutely nothing to worry about.

You have breasts, so puberty has started and will take its own course.

Plenty of girls don't show ANY sign of puberty unti lthey're 16 and periods may start some considerable time after that.

Relax my next door neighbor was a 34D when we were in the 4th grade. She'd have spotting once in a great while. But she didn't start her period 'till she was 20yo.

We're 32yo now and she's fine with 2 kids

i dont understand why so many of you want your period so quickly.. it is not fun.. haha.. dont worry the size of your breasts doesnt have anything to do with your period.. when your body is ready you will get it... if you dont have it by the time your 18 or 19 than you should start to worry but till than be happy you dont have cramps or any of your favourite panties ruined :(
