Most Americans don't know what it is to be "Canadian". Canadian's are pacifist not only in the affairs of the the rest of the world but within their own borders. A government that resembles a communist state not the equally pathetic non-capitalistic socialist state that it is. Corruption in government is a global problem but in Canada people can vote, but continually vote the parties that "do nothing" into power each and everytime. Taxes and under-employment running rampant but the people just sit back and say " oh well, what can I do?" Canadians feel they are socially in-tune with the rest of the world but they are truly not. Social retardation runs rampant as the sentiment in the country is to: "blame the Americans" instead of truly looking inside themselves. Canadians hate other Canadians getting ahead they lay blame on "injustices" when the real blame is a governmental system they continue to elect and allow to cripple the nation for the benefit of the very few. Canadians vote but refuse to "go out on a limb" and make the changes necessary to stop the degredation into a third world nation that invariably it will become. Don't worry though it will take at least 50 years for it too happen...so pop open another Molson Canadian, apply for a part-time job in the service-sector and open up another pack of $8.00 pack of Players or DuMaurier. "The Peoples Republic of Canada" is home of the true North strong and free!
A people that don't respect their veterans and what they were fighting for in the past and today have the disdain of truly free democratic societies. That is because that allows that type of "slack-attitude" to seep into the truly free nations. Think about it.

Americans don't like Canadians? Hmmmm. That's news to me. Right-wing, NeoCon rednecks here who've never left their home state might dislike Canadians, but that's just because Fox News has told them to hate Canada, France and Germany. But the opinions of those people don't count to the the rest of us.

Is there a rivalry between Americans and Canadians? Absolutely. But neighbors will do that. "Hate" is an awfully strong word.
