is it possible to transfer zone files from linux to windows 2k3? how?

Assuming you have LDAP on linux installed and configured, along with SAMBA, try adding your linux box to your Domain Controller as a computer. Then promote it to a domain controller.

Actually transferring zone files as far as I know is not possible, but by doing the above you can manage the server via windows.

BTW are you talking about DNS zone files? Because this is something Linux handles much better (even if it is harder to configure)
