Sorry but the Lakers? Even with Odom, they're not that great at all. Take teams like Dallas, San Antonio and Phoenix, those guys have much better chances to make it to the finals.

It's not with one or two players that you win a championship, it's with a team.

I think you are smoking crack. For one, the lakers are the 8th best team in the West. Do you really think they can match up with the Suns, Mavericks, Spurs, Rockets, or even the Jazz. They might have the 5th best record, but they are a long way from competing for a championship. As far as the Heat, they are currently in 9th place and wouldn't even make the playoffs if the season ended today. I think there is really no chance that either of those 2 teams will make the finals. In the East, the Cavs, Bulls, Pistons, Wizards, and Magic are all light years ahead of how the Heat are playing. I bet Vegas would give you no better then 2000-1 odds both of those teams make the championship game.

I'm a Laker fan, and I don't think the Heat or the Lakers are going to finals. Actually anything can happen in the East, that is a very weak confrence and Shaq is coming back in a few days.

I've been a laker fan for 35 years, and yeah I like there chances of at least getting to the second round this year. It will be hard to get past Dallas, they are playing great defense. Pheonix refuses to play defense, so that will keep them out of the running. When you consider the fact that two of the lakers starters are out, and how they've played in the last month, at least for the most part, then the sky really is the limit for this team this year. I can't wait till they get Odom and Brown healthy. I can see them making the conferrence finals. By the way, what is wrong with Michael Finley? Is he in the dog house with Popovich?

it particularly is too early to understand. Wait till the rosters are finalized then you definately can ask. I propose the Lakers ought to fasten-up Fisher simply by fact the warmth are offering him a settlement. i think of the Lakers additionally ought to re-sign Shannon Brown to have that scorer off the bench. in the event that they the two have been given to the Finals and Fisher became on the Lakers and Miami had the vast 3, Mike Miller, and a few different respectable gamers, i might nonetheless %. the Lakers to triumph over Miami in 6 video games.

Neither the Lakers nor the Heat will be in the finals. One of the following three teams will win, in this order:

1. Dallas
2. Phoenix
3. San Antonio

Most definitely at this rate. However, Wade vs Kobe would be a great and i mean GREAT match up. But once Shaq comes up (i am definitely not a Shaq fan) Shaq will dominate K Brown and A Bynum. Although he is aging and his title for most dominant player in the league is demolishing, Shaq does have the higher hand on the second and third string bench player for the Lakers. Its Phil Jackson Vs. Pat Riley, wheres, Riley's team will be more healthy then the Lakers potential.

It will be Wade vs Kobe
Shaq vs. Brown/Bynum
J Williams vs. Parker
Kapono/Payton vs. Walton
Haslem/Walker vs. Odem

Simply, the bench in Miami is more depth then Lakers.

Don't worry, i don't discriminate, i love the lakers and the heat. but that's just my two cents.

In my humble opinion, heat should take it.

What? The heat might not even make the playoffs. The lakers are inferior to the Mavs, Suns, and Spurs. Not a chance in hell buddy.
