I don't think that this is a well thought out question. Military service in war time, is usually undertaken by people who are conservative, a will to fight and die and have a set of morals (Hadith notwithstanding).

Depending on the person, most criminals don't have the will to go into combat, much less serve in the military. Secondly, most criminals don't have the discipline needed to be effective fighters or team players.

That is the reason why many of them are criminals: the lack discipline, moral compasses and will.

I beleive that a prisoner should have a choice ,but allowed to serve the military in special operations.I do not think we should close our borders, because of worst case scenario. If we have to get out the country because of a dangerous chemical, we will expext our best friends and allies to accept us in in the need of help.Do you think Mexico will close their borders from us if we were in trouble? I personally know mexicans that are more loyal to this country than theirs, because of corruptness and living hazards. I beleive that you have to have faith in the people that come to this country.You think they wont fight for what they built?this country is a dream country and for that reason it is home of plenty foreigners that risk their lives just to get here, Imagine fighting for your families future, your job, and way of live. They will risk their lives and fight their *** off ,if other countries start war in homeland.No question about it!
