Ruthless ppl that reach the lvl of being a lunatic would probably lost his sense. But most of the ruthless ppl just believe in survival of the fittest, and does not try at all to hide true human nature (otherwise known as "uncivilized")

I don't believe that to be the defintition of ruthlessness. That sounds more like selfishness. Sefish people usually, I believe, only have a conscience as it pertains to them. Hence, their selfishness.

I believe ruthlessness to be something else. I believe ruthlessness to be a single mindedness that blocks all other options from consideration. Soldiers can be ruthless in their attacks, corporate ruthlessness can drive competitors out of business etc etc. I think ruthless people put thier conscience aside or refuse to acknowledge it so they can continue toward their purpose.

I think what you have there is a very selfish person that is only looking out for themselves without any concern for others...A person with out a conscience is a person that can kill, hurt or do anything and not have any feelings for any of it..A person without a conscience has no emotions at all and are usually psyco....and a very evil person,it goes much further than a person that is just a very selfish person....I doubt that your friend that used you was a psyco,he or she was just as you said ruthless....Just be glad that they are not your friend any longer, you don,t need those kind of friends...

anyone can be selfish/ruthless if they block out their guilt.

but some are born with a disorder, anti-scoail personality disorder, and have no guilt. no matter what they do, they don't feel bad or understand why they should. since they've never felt bad, they don't actually know what the emotion guilt is- they know how to use it agaisnt others however.
