I found the most accurate and useful test I ever took was the Myers Briggs but for the free ones on the Internet you usually have to take like 5 to find out your accurate Myers Briggs personality test. Some universities and career placement/ labor placement offices offer career testing for a price. Also, ask friends and family... they often know better than you what you would be good at, and sometimes one of their suggestions will actually interest you.

I suggest that you don't choose until you're certain, since you'll have debt for a long time.
I have lots of school debt and I'm doing something totally different then what I took in school, and I'm much happier now then I would be if I got a career in my area of education.
I believe people should go to school because they want to learn something and become that, not the other way around, like what you're saying go to school and take whatever you can come up with. You need to want it first, and that is also the only way you will succeed at it.
I would google career test, there's tons on the web. Or call universities in your area and ask to meet with a career counselor, some offer it for free cuz they want you to spend your money there. Or examine it yourself: What do you love to do? What are you good at? Which questions are you good at answering on this website? And which ones are voted as best answers? ;)
Good luck

Most people will say Career Counselor and college but they truly suck. Go to the local Job Service Office and take a 1 week class in Carrier Guidance, should be free, then go and talk to as many different college counselors as you can. Maybe you'll get some idea about what may or may not be available for you. Wish there was a silver bullet for you.
Good Luck

go to the career center at our nearest college campus and take a career test.
Each state has a government site for searching the outlook of jobs etc.

First...try to have a soul searching moment and assess yourself where your interest are...and what you love and like doing...then from there...set a goal of what you want to achieve in the future...then decide which area of discipline can prepare and help you towards fulfillment. Good luck!
