Disagreements...everyone has them. My fiance and I have some as well, and we usually do a good job of resolving them, but even after the disagreement is over, there's still some tension between us for a little while. How do you get rid of this tension quickly?

I think that the longer you guys are together, the easier it gets. I've been married for 9+ years, and we've had our share of disagreements. We just try to move one. Sometimes one of us uses a bit of humor to move on...that really helps.

Good luck

The only people that "get rid of it quickly" are awesome actors. Trust me. My acting skills have become awesome since I have gotten married. Yes, I do genuinely forgive him. However, I definitely appear OK a lot sooner than I really am. You might think this is being dishonest. However, can you imagine how long a recovery period from a fight could last if we don't? I feel it helps me move on faster too.

There may not be a quick way. Just maybe go outside or part from him for just a little while and then try to carry own as usual if you've reached a resolution. No need to start the subject up again.

Agree you disagree on the issue.

Get out your opinions on the issue (harbouring them will lead to resentment) and listen to the other perspective.

If you agree to disagree, and respect your differences, the tension will soon pass.

If you have having frequent arguments or they are about the same (big) issues, perhaps you need to make sure there is not something deeper or more complicated going on.

Time and, if possible, discussion after the height of anger and emotion subsides. I'd say time is the biggest factor though.

Just agree to disagree and move on.It takes time to settel anything in our minds,so just allow that time.Things will fall into place again. But give each other time.than it"ll be fine.
