Hi Jennifer W !

Thanks for daring to ask and maybe get some nasty answers.
I think it´s a beautiful sounding name and the fact that you came across it means you should take it !
What does the baby´s father say ?

Good luck and best wishes from Xalapa, México,

Christian.

No, too ficky ficky for a boy. Not rugged. Don't mix the place with the sound of the name. Nicholas also is not strong. Think: Nicky.
Ross from British origin, meaning Wood
Rufus Latin Red-Haired

When picking a middle name, be sure that it sounds good and has some balance and rhythm with the first and last names that you choose. And make sure that it the initials do not create an acronym or spell a word (like Faith Alice Taylor = FAT) .

Ross William
Rufus Abbot (just kidding)

I like the names, but would Nicholas Aspen work? I think it flows better in a way. But there is honestly nothing wrong with Aspen Nicholas-just a matter of opinion. You like it, I love it. Your son will most likely grow into the name beautifully.

I don't care for Aspen. Nicholas is great, though. How about Wesley Nicholas?

I love Nicholas that's my sons middle name. I could see Aspen as a newcaster or something.

Nicholas is nice and would be better off paired with:

Alexander
Kyle
Harrisson
James

In any order, but do you really like Aspen- Its just weird

When I chose my kids names I thought about rather or not their name would be made fun of. What is short for Aspen? Remember kids can be cruel. It is original though.

Aspen would be subject to a lifetime of teasing. A spin, aspirin, asspen.. the list goes on. I'd rethink that one if you want to give your baby a chance at a normal life. :)
