All I can say is wht has happened is really in a very bad taste and those Brit contestants have given this programme a RACIST touch.polluted it.The programme makers have to remember that the whole world is watching shows like this and people playing this game are representing their city/town/county/country and how they behave or conduct themselves is interpreted as the mindset of the people staying in that location. In this case, the whole of Britain has been defamed and hung its head in shame due to the unwarranted racist comments towards Shilpa. If Brits are really so Un-Racist,they should surely be evicting and kicking those racist players out.

The "apology" that Jade made to Shilpa became the main staged, phoney, awkward, insincere, @ss-saving apology in the historic past of the international. Jade Goody is properly worth £4 million and has a company referred to as Jade Goody %...the lunatics have taken over the asylum. Jade Goody is legendary for being Jade Goody. She is an unsightly, stupid, talentless, conceited, vast-mouthed chav bully. i'm extremely joyful she's shot herself in the foot. each and every person could desire to boycott Jade Goody's products. do no longer make that terrible excuse for a man or woman one penny richer than she already (undeservedly) is. in line with danger then she'll get off her fat backside, get a genuine interest and start up earning earnings the stressful way like the rest human beings.

I guess, its a routine on such reality shows. Even in the show Big Boss, being aired in India by Sony, one can see people shouting at each other and mincing bad words against each other. But there its not called as racism as everyone belongs to the same race. But when such things happen in some other country dominated by white people, we jump on to call it racism and take it as an insult to our dignity. But, in all these happenings, Shilpa Shetty has made her fans list much larger, absolutely no doubt about it.

If it weren't for juvenile, obnoxious, petty behavior related to being drunk, sleeping around, being attractive, fitting in, not fitting in, being loved, or being despised, no one would watch stupid reality television like Big Brother. Those people are in that house to offend, betray, annoy, back-stab, lie to, and otherwise make the others in the house somehow beneath each other in order to win a large sum of money. All sorts of vile behavior has been shown on Big Brother and everyone thought it was cheeky and scandalous and entertaining until the victim was from India, and then suddenly we all expected the housemates to be nothing but dignified and loving and respectful of all diversity and human rights. WTF?!
My position is this. If you are a Big Brother watcher then you - by definition - find yourself entertained by people acting horribly and cruelly to each other. Don't you *dare* have the nerve to suddenly be offended because you think that making fun of someones accent is unspeakable while lying and cheating and betrayal and general despicableness is "just good TV."

I was in America and walking down the street when an older Caucasian gentleman did a namaste ( Folded hands and bent knees to me). I thought he was paying respect to me in the Indian customary way. Out of respect to his age I returned the namaste (without bended knees). It is then his entourage started laughing as if he had cracked a great joke. I realised that day what racism was all about. I just walked away.....what does one say to people who judge people by the colour of their skin....that they deserve to have such a deathly pallor to live with all their lives ?

i think the other housemates lack professionalism.they are stil clouded by trivial matters of racism... they need to b condemned and must be made to publicly apologise for their derogatory remarks. well may b this way britishers shall get a thrashing fr their misbehaviour often done wid d indians and other dark colored brethren. on a lighter side i guess shilpa gets d chance to win the big brother coz of simpathy she l b gettin...lol..

Had she been in a similar function in India the abuse would have been in a different manner. It teaches us the basic lesson that we Indians should respect each other and thereby respect our country.
There is a tendency among our people to pay more importance to westerners and their culture. This we are doing at the cost of our rich culture and heritage. The Indian culture is that it welcomed all religions and all races and that was evinced by the rule of Mugals, Britishers etc;The Britishers had proved to Indians what they are .Why do we again test them in functions similar to the one attended by Shipa Shetty.

Speaking from personal experience, I'm not surprised at all. Those other housemates are just disgusting pigs. It's sad that so many people still think the way they do.
