That individual states will be forced by there citizens to rebuke the Federal Government. The unanswered qustions, and outright lies about 911, The fact all evidence points to Bush, Cheney and others in the administration of implicity, the fact 77% of citizens mistrust the direction we are being lead. I think that the break-up of the former Soviet Union is the model on which the United States will be dismantled.

No way a civil war. Bush has been a loser as far as a president goes....... that is now the general consensus. But it would take far more for people here in the U.S. to start declaring war on the country. At least that's what I believe. I don't have a crystal-ball and can't see into the minds of everyone else, but I think it would take much more than a few idiots running the U.S. for a couple of terms to cause that to happen.

What ever damage they have done can just as easily be undone when the bozo's are gone. Revolution or civil war at this time over those issues would destroy everything good about our way of life. I would not, and I don't think that the vast majority of people in the U.S. would go for such action.

We occasionally have to put up with little junior Hitlers and their little Gestapo tactics. Now if it came to a military take over or dictatorship being put into place...... then the answer is YES. I would be willing to kick some a**. But not when we have a system in place to check that kind of thing from becoming an issue. Relax....... take a breather. Curious George and company are on their way out. Patience is a virtue.

First off without even regards to the merits of your question(9/11, Bush, Cheney etc. ) your question should be will there be a 2cd Revolution - not a 2cd civil war. And to the first person who answered your question Why did you single out the Southern State? Are they more prone to question the modern government or did the term civil war bring up some moronic trigger release within your brain that said South?
But to answer the actual question - No there will be no Civil War and no Revolution because the American people will never raise up to the challenge as long as their bellies are full and their pocketbook is too.
In the 1960's the government lied much worse then today and the youth of that day rose up and what happened? Nothing. The government went on the hippies became yuppies and nothing changed.
To days government will continue and the ordinary people will allow it

First I'd like you to read Orson Scott Card's "Empire" it is an excellent book that does an excellent job of predicting what could happen to cause a civil war and what would happen during the war.

If 77% of the citizens mistrust the direction we are being lead to, then those 77% of America can indeed vote in new representatives and senators who tehn have the power, if the people ant it to IMPEACH president Bush. I am quite frankly surprised that this has not happened yet. But we are not under fascism, There is a democratic majority in the house, if 77% of the population really don't like the federal government that much and youa re saying it is bush's fault, then can't they just impeach him?
Not that many people have a problem with it obviously, and there are always better solutions than a civil war, such as canada, great britain, an Anarchy house, South America, Europe. And we have plenty of freedoms. Even with phone spying, its not every random house, its suspected convicts. It is unfair and against american ideals, but vote a president who is willing to veto it.

These aren't hard problems. The rest of america has just stopeed caring about their rights.

i'm no longer confident about no matter if or not they are deliberately attempting to impression civil unrest yet, no matter if absolutely everyone likes it or no longer, it truly is strictly what we can get very quickly if something isn't performed to address the perfect way the electorate of this usa are being dealt with. i imagine that the banning of Geert Wilders has made many more effective human beings sit down up and picture about what the outcomes are for loose speech. Tony Blair created havoc and then walked faraway from it, leaving Brown to face the music. Brown has persevered to handle the electorate of this usa in a disgraceful style and, like Blair, he gained't be in place of work by technique of the time this all kicks off. he will have left some different person to handle it.

I think change will inevitably occur, but I do not foresee a second civil war cropping up due to recent happenings in today's government. People will deal with it in various manners but the fact is that many aren't supportive of the war now, so its doubtful that many will support another war. Plus, most people are afraid of the government, as sad a statement that is. As far as the war, hypothetically speaking, I suppose I'd be on the Federal's side - not because I agree with the war, but because I've signed a contract with the United States Navy. I would hate to imagine fighting against my own state, but more-so my country.

Not so much as a civil war.
Remember the British were overthrown because of taxation without representation. Looks likes the ones in government are only representing themselves and forgetting about the people who put them in office.

There's no reason for a civil war, but if Bush and this administration don't feel it necessary to conform to the will of the majority of the voters, then I can see cause for a revolution. There's precedent for it. (1776)

nope! ever see those old faded stickers on the local gun nuts pickup truck that says the U.N. is not your friend? well thats because i believe it was in the 1970's the us government signed over rights to the U.N. so that in the event of a civil war or wide scale unrest it would be okay for the U.N. to restore peace in the u.s. !so not only would people have to fight the government you would have to fight the u.n. also!
