Is that how the lady died when she was trying to win a ps for her kids. Wow they should be thankful that they are just losing their jobs and not being sent to prison. I see a lawsuit coming.

Well... All I have to say is that when you knowingly allow people to enter into a contract for something that can potentially kill them, and you joke about it (because you are not a doctor and don't fully understand the ramifacations)... You deserve to get fired. A life was lost at their expense. Someone should have paid attention when they were researching the 'challenge'. They could have at least had medical attention on stand by to regulate the event. They are lucky that they are not in jail awaiting a death sentance.

They ran a contest to see who could consume the most water without having to use the restroom to win a Wii. Hold your wee to win a Wii I believe is what it was. And a woman died of water intoxication. A nurse called in to warn of the possibility, and numerous others voiced their concern. The hosts laughed it off. They should have had trained medical personnel there. I hope that there are more sever consiquenses than just loss of their jobs.

yeah that was hella sad.:( i hate 107.9 now.!!! not to be rude or anything but yeah. that was so mean.they didnt even look into what the contest could do!!!yeah i think her name was jennifer strange.that wasnt rite!!!she died bcuz she tried to get a Wii game system for her 3 children and husband and they didnt even give it to her family.now if i were the judge i wouldnt let that waver pass(contract) you cant just sign your life away.!!!!well i think we all learned a valuable lesson on the 13th(Jan.), dont drink too much water or you'll drownd.!!!!
