Ok, first of all. Go to start and then search, search all files and folders. type: *.tmp (search)
Any .tmp files can be gotten rid of.
Completely clean your cache by going to tools, internet options, delete files, delete cookies and clear history. Reset the history days from 20 to 0 or 1.
Go into the control panel, and add/remove programs and remove any programs you are not using.
Also, I would consider a USB hard drive and store you music on it rather than your main drive.

CCleaner can help you free up the space you need to get defrag to work.

"CCleaner is a freeware system optimization and privacy tool. It removes unused files from your system - allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history. But the best part is that it's fast (normally taking less than a second to run) and contains NO Spyware or Adware!"

Access all the files manually, probably "My Documents>My Music" and jsut hodl down the CTRL button and click on the song files. Otherwise, go to "Tools>internet options>settings" and delete temporary internet files

Defragmentation requires at least 5% of your hard drive to be empty. So, you may try to delete other files instead of just music.
