joni b.: i find that question poignant. my last remaining grandmother on this earth was told today she has another valve leakage in her heart. she underwent one operation 8 years ago for the same and came out fine from it. just months from turning 90 she's faced with the decision: 20% chance of surviving a second "procedure" or passing from her earthly body as God wills. we await her, not our, decision on what she should do.
she is comfortable with the fact that her body is a temporary vessel to the Lord she serves and loves.
she is my life's inspiration, and my personal view of a "saint."

Hey Joni! Yeah my favorite, actually the only grandma I like, is still alive. I'm very far away from her though and I can't wait to see her again so I can talk to her and hear her british accent as we eat lunch together :)

Sadly both of them have been gone for many years now. A birthday prayer for your Grandma, and good night to you.

No, unfortunately. Mine would have been 97 this month. She died on Thanksgiving Day four years ago. I think of her a lot, especially on Thanksgiving, because she was such a wonderful person.
