Send it in and call the University - they might still look at it - but don't be surprised if you get rejected.
Good Luck!!!

hmm....it sends a pretty negative message to the admissions committee. One that you might not have intended. With something as important as college admissions, a two week late application sends a message along the lines of:
-this isn't that important to me
-your school was an after thought
-This is a reflection of my general work ethic (whether it actually is or not)
If you have a real good reason (ie medical reasons that could possibly be accompanied by a doctor's note), I would say do. Even if you don't, I would still encourage you to do it. Just don't get your hopes up because that admission team has:
a) been reviewing applications for two weeks
b) probably filled up a bulk of the slots
c) little or no tolerance for significantly late applications since they have a huge pool of qualified applicants
Whatever you decide to do, best of luck! Remember that if that's your dream school, you can always transfer in from somewhere else.

I'm sorry there are few chances they will accept it, they would say its a reflection on your character, it probably isn't though. We all make mistakes...try looking for colleges whose deadlines haven't passed.
Take a look at ones like Eastern Connecticut State University whose deadline has not passed.

If you could find a wavier for being late send it if not don't because they will take the fee from the application and just throw away the application

The college wont accept it. It's due by that deadline and not after.

it might get shelved and get considered next year. not much chance of getting in this time. mail them or something and check anyway, there is a slight possibility of still getting in.

No harm in sending it in, though it is unlikely it will be considered.
