We, the Baby Boomers, did not as a group set a good example for you Gen Xer's. We were basically a bunch of brats who wanted to have it all and not realize the consequences. Not wonder you have little sense of trust, commitment, or satisfaction.

Simple answer: Too little face time, too much technology to hide behind.
Well, okay we also live in a sue-happy world where every little comment, gesture, or emotion can land you in trouble in front of a judge. People no longer accept personal responsibility for their own actions and demand to be shielded from the natural consequences of what they do by the law rather have to face up to it and deal with it.
For example, Guy A smarts off to Guy B all day long. Guy B repeatedly warns Guy A. Guy A gets even more wound up. Guy B finally punches Guy A's lights out. Guy A has the nerve to act like he didn't do anything wrong and takes Guy B to court. Court sides with Guy A because of the current asinine laws. Guy B winds up with a criminal record and Guy A walks away with money in his pocket.

Most parents ended up divorced or are still married and fighting like cats and dogs. If the parents can't remain commited and display examples of problem solving, how can our children learn any coping skills.

I think it is a crazy party time in World History. I think everyone is into sex, drugs and more sex and drugs. Think about it, it coresponds to our life styles. Everyone today buys everything and anything. It symbolizes this generation's attitude and personality.

I blame it on the single white female parents. They raised guys to be like sissy girls.

Because no one had any role models to show them how it's done. EVERYONE comes from broken homes.
