I`ve been to several doctors and they all say I have phimosis. So I`m getting circumcised next month. I`ve always wanted it done but I`m scared it`s going to hurt. I`m 16 years old and I haven`t been able to pull my foreskin back since I was 7 so it`s hard to clean. Has anyone got their penis circiumcised at an age they can remember? Does it hurt? can you feel it afterwards? I heard it heals in a week...I also heard if you get an erection they can tear out the stiches? do they give you medicine to prevent that? Please help!

you should save yourself the pain and just cut off your penis . i mean right now. go to the kitchen , get a butcher knife and slam it down hard down there. you will save yourself the pain of circumcision and the pain of paying child support in the years to come.

I'm not circumcised so I can't speak from personal experience, but from what I've read it only hurts guys who have had too much skin removed when they were circumcised (like if they've had a tight circumcision). Every circumcision is different and it's all up to the doctors medical expertise how much skin gets removed. Some guys still have loose skin leftover that can stretch enough to make erections comfortable and other guys have so much skin removed that it causes painful erections (usually later in life). Personally, I wouldn't have my son circumcised for two reasons. One, I could never hurt my baby if there was no medical reason for doing so (and everyone knows that 99% of the times circumcision is not medically necessary. And two, because I would never want to be circumcised myself and I would want to leave that decision up to him. I've always enjoyed my foreskin and never had any problems or complaints and I doubt that he would either, but if he did, he could always decide to go get circumcised.

Yes ignore the first two idiot's Tom & Tim - maybe they both should be circumcized without anithestic - RETARDS!!!!
I got circumcized at age 28 under general anithestic - so they knocked me completely out.
I had disovable stitiches which most came out naturally.
It is sore for a while but it don't hurt THAT bad. I had sex with my then girlfriend approx 5 weeks later.
We were both reluctant in me getting circumcized as BOTH of our families had their foreskins.
My girlfriend then thought my penis felt bigger, we reasoned coz there was less skin it felt tighter & thus bigger than not logically so. She also started giving me oral and hand jobs.
with a foreskin I used to NOT enjoy oral nor hand coz my penis head always had moisture on it from my foreskin and I was ultra sensitve. Now I really enjoy them coz I am not sensitive.
My girlfriend said AFTER I was circed if she ever had a baby boy that he would be circed.
I can now pee Straight without a foreskin in the way
I miss having a foreskin coz it used to often get caught in a zipper from a pair of jeans- gee i miss it - NOT!!!!!!!
My orgasms are more intense now than before.
Sex is as good as ever so the theory that your sex life will be worse is a load of balony.
No smegma {Cheesy substance under the foreskin}
No smells - I used to smell like 1/2 an hour later after washing underneath the foreskin - granted this doesn't happen to all uncircumcized penis's but it does happen.
It isn't mutilation, and if you have to have it done for medical reasons then listen to your doctor.
If I was you I probably would've believed all the anti-circ information on the net & NOT had it done. I actually kinda liked my foreskin but who know what I am bloody glad I was circumcized as for me it's been way better.
My only regret is not having it done sooner & not getting it done a bit tighter as it is a bit loose.

i had it done when i was 12 years old(not kidding). But the pain....it's not that painful actually(maybe because my pain threshold is low?).When the doc. cut off my foreskin, i still can feel the scisor cutting it.Mine healed in 5 days.And the stiches, i cut it off myself.I didnt went to the clinic coz my friends said the nurses that doing the job are not doing it slowly and smoothly.And bout the erection, there's nothing you can do about it.Just avoid anything that can make you get an erection.

I had it done at age 21. I'm glad I had it done! I like the looks and feel much better. You can have it done with a local antithetic or pay allot more and have a general antithetic(put you under) .
The pain is average. They can put on a compression bandage to help with the erections pulling on the sutures.
But be sure to pick the style of circ you want!! I did not have all the information at my finger tips like we all have now (the Internet)
and I did not get mine at tight as I wanted it so now it bit loose. But still like it much better than before.
I hope this has helped. I have even thought of having a revision done on mine, so the pain is not THAT bad. ITS worth it!!

i had it done when i was 21 yep it did hurt but u get over it pretty soon u have expect pain if u cut your finger it will hurt so cutting Dicky will hurt.don't worry about it stay kool.
