Is Yahoo, msn, icq just some of the boring ones?????

I would suggest you install one of the multi-platform messengers. I use the free version of trillion and it is fantastic.

Well, actually I've noticed fewer people over the years using Yahoo Messenger. The bulk of users might be on MSN and ICQ. It's really hard to say since so many websites now have their own chat interfaces.
I would have say that MSN Messenger is probably still the King with ICQ a close second. I could be wrong.

At one time, I thought ICQ was the best. Now I think everyone bases their decision on how many animations they can download. I use Yahoo now, more out of habit than choice. ICQ is a close second.

Msn and Yahoo stand along .. Then come AIM .. Then ICQ ... n then the rest ..


I suggest getting a Trillian Msngr n enjoy all of em LOL !!

Try GAIM - a free IM program which supports yahoo, msn, icq, gtalk and more. Or you can also try Meebo which is a web-based IM

First you narrow down to which message service has all the people you chat with, then try out the service's IM program. If you don't like their interface you can try alternates like Trillian which will give it a new look, but still allow you to chat with your friends.
